The song “Rise Up” by Cosmic Anxiety was written in a flash of creative inspiration at a tiny goth and darkwave music festival in Berlin. In November 2025, Eli went to the event, and witnessing the musicians perform on stage prompted them to explore the possibility of making a dark electronic track of their own.
A couple of days later, that notion went from imagination to action. So they sat down with a Novation Circuit and started to arrange things around. Letting the process unfold through sound. The beat and melody of the chorus that eventually became the basis of “Rise Up” emerged during those early sessions.
