OpCritical strikes back with “Liar Liar”

OpCritical’s “Liar Liar” is a sharp, uncompromising message targeted squarely at the institutions of power OpCritical aims to expose. It’s the seventh such track and music video the band has released in 2026 as part of their ongoing campaign of confronting social maladies with unvarnished musical commentary.

This course targets the extremely wealthy and powerful oligarchs who gained power via manipulation, deception, and the exploitation of systems that were supposed to serve the public. Rather than taking an abstracted view on these subjects, the song embraces confrontation, with its identity reverberating the tension and imbalance it critiques.

“Liar Liar” has an immediacy that suits its meaning. The production uses intensity rather than excess to bolster its thematic weight, keeping the fundamental notion clearly in focus. There is an intentional sense of friction throughout, echoing the struggle between public consequence and individual authority.

What you see is the clarity of intention. OpCritical does not hide its message in metaphorical distance but directs its view through a straightforward discussion of institutional failure and moral contradiction. The outcome is a track that sounds both of its time and of necessity, grounded in the present-day reality rather than abstract protest.
