Kelsie Kimberlin’s "Dream of Peace" brings hope to life

Kelsie Kimberlin burst out of the gate in a new direction. The photographic exhibit and video for "Dream of Peace" have been viewed on local networks throughout Ukraine. Marking the American/Ukrainian pop artist's sixth release this year, and likely the most emotional, so frequencies say. Recorded in Kyiv, Ukraine, the video is a striking plunge into despair, hope, and universal desire for peace.

Kimberlin thrusts us into a chilling new world that reeks of silence and dust. She wanders alone, until she comes across an astronaut downed in the desolate sand hills. It's a poignant metaphor, the kind that invites viewers to consider solitude, the cost of war, and the fragility of human connection. When Kelsie breaks the barrier and reaches up to touch the astronaut's gloved finger, something miraculous happens, time warps, space curves, and we are taken into a whole new world.

"Dream of Peace" is a whispered prayer cloaked in vivid imagery. Kimberlin applies her art not to transcend reality but to reimagine it. With this single, she pays homage to the suffering and strength of Ukraine, sending a message that even in humanity's bleakest hour, hope remains alive.
