Voice Of Glass breaks silence with new single "This World Is Broken" [Review]

Las Vegas-based alt-metal Band Form of Glass releases brand-new single "This World Is Broken." Combining heavy and dark atmospheric sorrow with progressive metal, the theme of this track explores existential strife, social illness, spiritual warfare, and the human desire for redemption. Guitarist David Meek delivers raw, unbridled riffs to keep you intrigued. Olya Meek's vocals are equally a siren and a warning, carving their way through the tune with a serene yet powerful elegance. It's like she is in the rubble, talking about everything that happened on the way there.

In addition to being the second single from their upcoming EP, "This World Is Broken" is a new chapter for Voice Of Glass and marks their signing with Swedish indie label Rexius Records. The song was completed with the help of frequent collaborators at Electric Shop Recording and mixed to perfection, ensuring that every part could be heard clearly; mastered to enhance the richness of the music. Voice Of Glass can connect individual experiences with more universal themes.

This song appeals to anyone mired in the pain of living, contemplating our struggles, but with an excitingly lush musical backdrop that deserves attention. The duo has always viewed music as a vehicle for understanding deep-seated feelings, and that remains the same since forming in 2002. On "This World Is Broken," they share an urgent message that is both filmic and deeply human. This isn't a backdrop, this is to hear. The solemn bell chime for when it's time to deploy, and  it may answer the call of mending and restitution.
