Bad Valentines ink emotion with debut EP "Memory Tattoos"

Bad Valentines have released their long-awaited debut EP, "Memory Tattoos." It consists of four melodic, gritty, and raw emotion tracks, the hallmark sound of an indie rock band on the rise.

In 14 minutes, "Memory Tattoos" delivers an undeniable emotional wallop, signaling the group's ability to craft big melodic hooks, rip-roaring playing, and emotive storytelling. The EP also includes previous fan favorites "Mariia" and "Last Days In The Sun," a glittering standout reflective anthem that beckons the golden ache of summer's final moments. In all the ways, it feels irretrievable, but it also sounds almost diary-like, bitter, and book-bound. Midnight Ink is branded diary-style with indelible, permanent ink and a memory tattoo, leveraging the title of the record to drag with me a little bit of Ebony Hoorn around forever. It is a statement from a band that is not afraid to wear its heart and heartbreaks on its sleeve.

With "Memory Tattoos," Bad Valentines show they're not just about ephemeral romance. They're carving their name into indie rock, one scar, one melody, one memory, Marah mutters at a time.
