BeMyFiasco returns with new album "Pretty Little Love"

BeMyFiasco, a Texas-born singer-songwriter, has returned in grand form. Aided by +FE Music, eight songs make up your emotional elevation, swinging through love, lust, and self, providing an intimate sonic appeal and high, compelling, and warm.

With a signature sound that blends traditional and modern R&B influences, BeMyFiasco expands her artistry on "Pretty Little Love," taking on new creative responsibilities. For the first time, she co-produces some of the songs, including "Don't Wanna Be Your Lover" and "Finally," the latter also being her debut as a guitarist. Teaming up with a lineup of amazing producers, including ROMderful, ANKN & VDR, and Zo! & Tall Black Guy, she creates a rich sonic terrain of soulful melodies and passionate storytelling.

When Phonte and Carlitta Durrand join, they add a dimension of harmony and timbre to BeMyFiasco's already compelling vocal delivery. Tracks like "Finally" and "Free" emerge as emotional high points, demonstrating her development as a songwriter and performer. At 25:42, Pretty Little Love is a concise listen with compelling stakes, and the punchy runtime is more than adequate at reassuring that it has staying power.

BeMyFiasco broke through with her critically acclaimed debut album, Where I Left You (2021). Since then, she has contributed vocal and songwriting talents to a handful of high-profile projects, including writing and performing with Phonte for IFC's Sherman's Showcase and appearing on albums by Rory, Rapper Big Pooh, Oddisee, and Lalah Hathaway. Her skill as a songwriter won her a recent Grammy nomination for Hathaway's "VANTABLACK" (Best R&B Album).
