Big O’s "Blindfolded" finds the heat in the moments that matter

It’s nice to have an EP that gives you enough space to get comfortable in its universe, but doesn’t stick around too long. Big O’s "Blindfolded" delivers just that, assembling 10 songs into a 30-minute and 18-second listening experience that feels like it was meant to be absorbed from the first note to the last.

At its core, "Blindfolded" is a collection that lets many moods and moments exist on their own. The EP isn’t stuck in one moment, letting listeners choose their own favorites.

This time around, “Good Times,” “Day Room,” and “Heat is On” quickly bubble to the surface. Each song adds motivation to push through the project, making the EP feel like a cohesive listening experience, not just a collection of individual tracks. “Good Times” is a song that’s easy to see the appeal of, and “Day Room” is another memorable stop on the voyage through the EP. “Heat is On,” meanwhile, brings its own vitality to the project and wraps up the three tracks that left the strongest impression on this listen.

At slightly over 30 minutes and 10 songs, "Blindfolded" is an EP you can enjoy in one sitting without feeling like a chore. It gives listeners plenty to explore without losing the overall journey.

Big O’s "Blindfolded" is definitely one of those projects you’d want to hit play on from beginning to end. "Good Times", "Day Room", and "Heat is On" are my faves, but there’s plenty of room on the EP for the listener to choose.
