A3 makes his return to the UK music industry with “Maybe It’s You,” a mellow and atmospheric tune that displays a gentler, more introspective side of the veteran electronic and dance performer.
The A3 is usually known for an uplifting sound, but here it takes a different approach, moving away from the high-energy glow of dance floors into something far more laid-back. It's not a departure, it feels more like a natural evolution. It allows the music to breathe and puts emotion and atmosphere at the center.
“Maybe It’s You” is constructed on organic textures, melodic sensibilities, and a captivating down-tempo groove. Together, these elements make for a subtle setting for an unreservedly amorous ballad. Rather than pure force, the tune finds its appeal in atmosphere, warmth and moderation.
A key element of that change is the partnership with legendary producer and multi-instrumentalist Ian Barter, whose work with Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith, Dermot Kennedy and Izzy Bizu gives a further layer of knowledge to the production.
