4fro Nick ignites indie rock urgency on "Don’t Waste My Time (LA Mix)" EP Premiere

Nick Anastasakis is an artist born in Greece, living in the U.S. He is of Cretan descent, developed in New York, and evolving now in Los Angeles. As the lead singer of indie rock band 4fro Nick, he is inspired by his background in Crete, where he was formed by early recollections of street musicians playing on Venetian cobblestones, leading to his raw and emotive songwriting approach.

Now situated in Los Angeles, 4fro Nick leverages those basic origins into emotionally charged indie-rock soundscapes distinguished by urgency, sincerity, and explosive energy. His music is a combination of passionate lyrics and energetic arrangements, resulting in a sound that is at once personal and universally resonant. It is the embodiment of music as a way of life, rather than merely a skill.

“Don’t Waste My Time (LA Mix)” is a cocktail of indie rock, soul, and modern pop, powered by emotive vocals, polished guitar work, and reflective lyrics about respecting your own time. The EP also has “Get There Before Noon (LA2 mix),” a contemplative tune about living in the present. Together, the two songs provide for a short emotional release of six minutes and twenty-five seconds.

Grammy award-winning piano player Leo Genovese and legendary drummer Johnny Radelat join forces with bass player George Athanas, whose playing adds depth and rhythm to the organic, yet powerful sound of the EP. “Don’t Waste My Time (LA Mix)” and “Get There Before Noon (LA2 mix)” are more proof of 4fro Nick’s emerging identity and an intriguing new chapter in his indie-rock odyssey from Crete to Los Angeles.
