The story of EyBand begins with two friends. Andi and Schmali have been friends for a long time, but it was during the pandemic that they really started working together creatively. Andi showed Schmali how to play the guitar, and in those quiet, unsure times, the first ideas for a band started to come together. That feeling of shared discovery still runs through "Wake Up Call," giving the song a grounded, human core under its bigger ideas.
