MARS_999 unplugs reality with 8mm poetry in “Odpoj Svet z Prístrojov”

Slovak artist MARS_999 new music video "Odpoj Svet z Prístrojov" ("Disconnect the World from the Devices") from his first album "EUPHONIA", takes viewers into a world at once personal and creepy. This release isn't just music, it's also a movie that breaks down the digital facade and celebrates flaws and the warmth of analog. There are no digital effects in the video, which was shot entirely on 8mm film with a handheld camera. The images are real, immediate, and disturbingly real.

The video, directed by Tereza Havadejová, a talented student at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and a rising Slovak filmmaker, shows the song's themes of inner conflict. People used to love MARS_999's music for its dark poetry and intense mood, but this time it feels even more personal. "Odpoj Svet z Prístrojov" explores emotional turmoil from a delicate yet strong perspective, examining the difference between decline and resurgence, and between disorder and clarity.

The track has all the classic MARS_999 sounds, ethereal textures, deep introspection, and an emotional immediacy that pulls the listener in. Even though the song is thunderous, it has a calming effect that makes you want to be quiet and clean for a long time after it's over.

MARS_999's use of analog technology seems revolutionary in a world where everything is digital. It's not just a new idea, it's a true expression of his artistic vision. "Odpoj Svet z Prístrojov" isn't just a song, it's a message. This release not only solidifies MARS_999's place in Slovak music but also demonstrates the power of honest expression.
