Naomi Neva soars and shatters with “This Is Over”

Oakland, California-based indie rock singer Naomi Neva has released a new single, "This Is Over", and it has a lot of emotion and can be streamed on all platforms. An all-female team at Hear Me Roar Studio created the song, which is a rough, guitar-based track that combines grief with hard-earned wisdom. It's the kind of song that really hits you and makes you want to sing along.

"This Is Over" becomes both a confession and an explosion at the same time. As she faces the painful truth that something or someone has come to an end, Naomi's strong voice cuts through the layers of distorted guitars. But the passionate chorus does show some self-awareness. Naomi says that it means realising that you can't expect someone else to make you happy and that you need to stop pretending.

She wrote the song on the way home from Berlin, where she had just seen her best friend. The trip was hard, with emotional highs and lows between meals on the plane. The result is an indie rock anthem that is relieving and doesn't feel sorry for itself. Instead, it shines with its own defiance.

Naomi Neva turns heartbreak into a thrilling freedom in "This Is Over." It is honest and clearly hers. It is a musical rebuke to shallow solutions and a tribute to the appeal of emotional chaos.
