MOULD transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary in their fierce new single “Float”

Bristol's noise-punkers MOULD return to fray ears and souls with their new single, "Float", released today via 5dB Records, the label behind Anaiis and Ashaine White.

"Float" finds MOULD biting into contemporary malaise with wit, venom, and unapologetic self-awareness. It's a snarling snapshot of a generation trapped between overstimulation and apathy, decked out in feedback, distortion, and grief.

"Float" is sharply focused, a searing punch distilling the desensitized doom-scroll of daily life. Each beat lands like a jolt of electricity, every riff boils with disgust and despair. The end product is relieving, pure and simple, a purge that feels as essential as it is discomfiting.

Where other bands may shy away from the harsh realities of contemporary existence, MOULD transforms them into artistic expression. "Float" isn't a song so much as a mirror held up to our collective numbness, daring us to look. It's sardonic, self-aware, and thrillingly alive evidence that even in a world of distractions, feeling can still cut through the noise.
