Lipford channels emotion and rock grit in “Just A Cry”

Italian singer-songwriter Lipford is back with his sixteenth offering, "Just A Cry," a touching tune that fuses emotional openness with a rocking sound. Recorded entirely independently at the Jungle Music Factory, thanks to Francesco Grammatico's engineering and mixing expertise, the single feels like a private outpouring of emotions with production refined by world-class craftsmanship.

The song's richness is courtesy of multi-platinum mixer Matteo Marciano, who has worked with artists such as Anna Kendrick, Pitbull, and 2Cellos, as well as on hit movies like Pitch Perfect and John Wick. His recording and mastering, done by Abu Dhabi's Dunes Studio, keep Lipford's emotive delivery flowing strongly without losing the track.

"Just A Cry" rocks on The Rezonaut, a Rome-based alternative metal act, last seen via "Into the Wormhole," an arranged song. Their impact is clear. The guitars hit with controlled aggression, drums push forward, and key changes support the singer-songwriter's vocally driven narrative. Lipford's plaintive voice is front and center, soft but steely, coaxing listeners into the song's emotional pull. What's striking here is the effortless union of introspective lyrics and rock energy, a release with every chorus and a whispered confession with each verse. The track straddles the line between grief and self-satisfaction for Lipford, an indicator that her artistry is always moving ahead.

With "Just A Cry," Lipford demonstrates that independent music can achieve the polish of a primary production, all while remaining intimate and personal. The single is not just a song, it's an emotional rallying cry, a gritty expression of humanity that demands to be heard.
