Sahara CyberStars channel strength and revolution in "Winds of Time"

The Sahara CyberStars pledge to take their time by arriving with a song that slows the world down just enough for some reflection and a little revelation. Their newest single, “Winds of Time,” is an emotional time capsule opened at the precise time possible.

"Winds of Time" has ultimately landed in the upheaval of the now. The song is a churning, cinematic affair with striking harmonies, soulful sax, and a melody that lingers like an earword.

Dave’s gritty, weather-worn vocals are the track’s backbone, grounded and full of heart, while his sister Trish’s saxophone solo brings an unexpected jolt of soul that lifts the whole arrangement. The chemistry between the two is palpable, like storm chasers who have tangled themselves into songwriters, returning with music rather than forecasts. From its low-burning verses to its soaring, nearly prayerful chorus. It’s both elegy and anthem, grieving what’s lost while urging us to cling even tighter to what’s still here.

The Sahara CyberStars project strikes what is becoming a near-impossible balance between the intimate and the epic, engineered and produced in their own Goldrush Music Studio. The sound is warm, analog, and perhaps even vintage. In a musical environment that is rarely conducive to depth, "Winds of Time" is a forceful moment of stillness. If that’s what the Winds of Time sound like, we are swept away.
