Polly Money strips it back with new EP "T-shirt Nothing Else"

Polly Money is ready for the limelight with her new EP, "T-shirt Nothing Else," an intimate, glistening collection that positions her as one of the U.K.'s most arresting new voices. Still basking in the afterglow of a tour with 1975, the Cornwall-born artist is showing the world that she is more than just a support act, presenting a project that is both effortlessly cool and emotionally raw.

The five-track EP, running just over 14 minutes, is a master class in understated storytelling. The lead single T-shirt is a heart-on-sleeve anthem, merging delicate melodies with a dreamy, nostalgic haze. Meanwhile, Anything is a bittersweet confession, all warm guitar tones and Polly's trademark soft yet expressive vocals. Each track is a moment in meticulous design, from a faint recollection of lost love to a whisper-like anthem for midnight overthinking.

Reflecting on the themes of imposter syndrome and artistic vulnerability, Polly joined us via her studio at home in London on one of the few sunny days to speak about the process behind the EP. "This project is essentially just me, warts and all," she said. I wanted to create something that felt real, like sitting down with your best friend at 2 AM.
