Ocean Flor make a promise with "Never Let You Down"

Ocean Flor features the magnetic chemistry of Berlin's electronic wizard Ralf Schmidt (aka Aera) and LA-based vocalist Jesse Trinidad. You can hear how well they work together on the track, which is now streaming everywhere. "Never Let You Down" comes not as a byproduct of months of work but as an exquisitely raw product of a hit that struck on a morning. Ralf broke with a melody spinning in his head, and like any good artist who understands the nature of the muse.

The song is an irresistible cocktail, the rhythmic immediacy of UK breakbeat swirling around, and just the hint of Southern Spanish spice whispering at the periphery. It's a soundscape that's broad and intimate. Jesse's vocals hover above the beat with a haunting sound, like a promise whispered into the listener's ear. "Never Let You Down" is a mantra borne of each beat.

What distinguishes this release is its polished production and the sense that you're being invited into something honest. A warmth here often feels absent from modern electronic music's cold precision. Ocean Flor also reminds listeners that emotion and groove are not mutually exclusive.
