TeeZandos releases a ruthless new era with her latest single, “Old Me”

TeeZandos, London’s reigning Princess of Drill, is not here to play in 2025; she’s here to sweep. Starting the year off with the release of her highly anticipated single “Old Me,” the East London spitter makes one thing evident: the evolution is real, and she’s never looking back.

Recruited by heavyweight producers Carns Hill Headie One, K-Trap, and Jay Cactus Giggs, French The Kid, TeeZandos comes through with a no-nonsense banger ridden with sharp lyricism and an icy, bass-laden beat that captures your attention. “Old Me” finds her contemplating the false affection that comes with achievement, firing with her trademark intensity: “I look in the mirror, and I look at real. I ain’t out here like them, so I don’t know how the fake sht feels.”

“Old Me” is a statement. With co-signs from UK tastemakers such as Kenny Allstar, Tiffany Calver, and Fumez The Engineer, TeeZandos has already shown she’s a force in a male-dominated industry. But in “Old Me,” she gets another notch up, letting go of past expectations and reasserting her crown with total confidence.

The accompanying Kaylum Dennis-directed visual is nothing short of a masterclass, with a stark London street vista behind the lens matching the unrelenting pace of “Old Me.” The cinematic visuals, her raw intensity, and TeeZandos’ undeniable presence spell out that this is her city, and she’s running it.

If “Old Me” is anything to go off a string-of-pearls collection of the slings and arrows of teenage life captured in sordid detail, then 2025 belongs to TeeZandos. The question isn’t whether she’s up next. It’s how high she’s about to rise.
