Liily releases raw energy with the new single “Swallow”

Liily returns today with a new single, “Swallow,” a ferocious new single that captures the highs, the lows, and the unquenchable thirst of a group who’ve fought their way through the chaos of coming of age in the music scene. Although the band released a self-titled EP, followed by a raucous tour with Together Pangea, Liily Dylan Nash (vocals), Charlie Anastasis (bass), Sam De La Torre (guitar), and Maxx Morando (drums) aren’t coasting on past glories, but rather carving a path for their future.

“Swallow” hits with an urgency that only comes from a band that’s lived every minute of its evolution. Sonically, it’s raw and jagged, filled with dynamic tension that reflects their rise from backyard shows in the San Fernando Valley to selling out legendary venues like The Roxy. It’s the sound of a band that’s gone through the wreckage, roadkill and all, and, like Bon Jovi in a Camry, can’t slow down.

There’s a heaviness to “Swallow,” a flurry of searing riffs and epic calls that speaks to the abandon and clarity of years. It’s a call to arms for those who have tripped but kept running, for those who still won’t open their eyes. And for Liily, it’s yet another undeniable reminder that they’ve arrived to stay louder, sharper, and hungrier than ever.

Listen to “Swallow” now and see Liily as they continue their path of destruction through stages in the U.S. This is a statement.
