Kadeem Tyrell shares a seductive new single, "One Time"

Kadeem Tyrell reemerges, and boy, does he arrive with the mother load heat. His newest single, "One Time," is a smooth slab of R&B that radiates confidence, charisma, and classic '90s nostalgia. Channeling the sexy energy of Ginuwine's "Pony" while remaining faithful to his signature airy, feel-good sound, Kadeem gives us a song that's equal parts playful and provocative.

Co-produced by Joel AB, James Mwanza (JDXUK), and Stevie Williams, whose credits include Tyla, Mnelia, and Ayanna, "One Time" is an effortless groove-heavy anthem thickly furnished with intoxicating melodies and buttery vocals. It is a testament to Kadeem's ability to mix old-school influence with a modern flair, delivering a fresh interpretation of the golden era of R&B.

"One Time" is a statement. In fact, it was inspired by Kadeem's transformative journey through the U.S., during which he performed on the BBC Introducing stage during the SXSW festival with some of the UK's brightest stars. That month-long immersion in American R&B culture rekindled his creative spirit, resulting in an album that sounds simultaneously timeless and like nothing else.

Kadeem has always been able to stretch however he'd like within the realms of UK music, seamlessly incorporating Neo-Soul, Garage, House, and Pop styles into his palette. With references touching on D'Angelo and Lucky Daye to contemporaries like Ego Ella May and Mnelia, he maintains a sense of exploration while remaining true to himself.
