Jvn releases his new EP, "In Due Time," The seven-track project reaffirms Jvn's position in the industry. He successfully combines crisp lyricism with timeless hip-hop touches while proving with his latest that a forward path remains to be built for the genre.
"In Due Time" reflects Jvn's present state of mind and musical evolution. "The vibe of this release stemmed from my whole being as a person and what I was creating musically," Jvn explains. This project isn't simply another catalog addition but a manifesto, a mission statement. He declares with confidence and grit, "I can rap my a** off, and I'm shooting my shot when it comes to putting myself on stage with the greats that have come before me and after."
With roots embedded in traditional hip-hop, In Due Time has been inspired by some greats: Meek Mill, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, T.I., Nas, and Drake. Among the standout tracks, "B2B" is the perfect entry point for you, displaying Jvn's polished delivery and sincere storytelling. A separate highlight, "High Form," further shows his relentless energy and hunger for success.
Jvn's momentum is also outside of the studio. He was recently in the limelight as one of the local artists to perform at a sold-out arena show with Lil Uzi Vert and G Herbo at the Toyota Pavilion Center. Looking forward, he is now concentrating on recording and booking an opening slot with an artist further up the food chain than he is.
