Isabel LaRosa shares hauntingly beautiful new single "Home"

Isabel LaRosa has never been one to run from raw emotion, and her newest single, "Home," is just further evidence of it. Debuting on Valentine's Day, humorous in its anti-love, a song about growing up, nostalgia, and the bittersweet nature of moving forward,  "Home" is an intensely personal consideration of moving on from the familiar.

Having been born of the feeling of watching her childhood home in Annapolis, Maryland, fade into the past, Home engages with the question of what "home" really is. Written with her brother Thomas and produced with Ian Kirkpatrick,  "Home" evokes a sense of watching life going ahead while trying to keep hold of shards of the past. With haunting production set against LaRosa's ethereal vocals,  "Home" statutory minimum sonic space feels intimate and cinematic, making it impossible to avoid getting lost in the emotion.

One of  "Home" emotional moments arrives in the second verse when LaRosa gives a shout-out to her younger sister, especially in the line that reads, "To the boys that kiss her, you better fucking treat her well." It is raw, protective, and deeply personal, an open letter of love and warning that lands square in the heart.

Days ahead, with festival gigs at Electric Avenue and The Governors Ball looming and talk of more music from her vault, LaRosa's momentum is ramping up. And if Home is any sign, we're in for something special."
