INJI releases dance-pop perfection with debut EP, "WE GOOD"

Inji spins into the world officially with her debut EP, "WE GOOD." It is a feel-good, genre-blending, sweat-dripping project that reminds us that life is just too short not to be dancing. Throughout five bouncy tracks, the 22-year-old Turkish talent is one to watch in a male-dominated dance-pop landscape.

"WE GOOD" is a bold, loud, full-body celebration of self-love, confidence, and having a good time from beginning to end. Kicking off with the explosive "NICE TO MEET YA," a duet with Flyana Boss, INJI presents an unapologetic summer anthem drenched in attitude. Between its Pitbull-esque production and bars that cut like diamonds, "WE GOOD" establishes the tone for an EP that revels in something that is both grandiose and empowering.

But the standout tracks, including "GIRLZ," are raucous love letters to female camaraderie and just another infusion of reckless, fearless energy into the club. "ROT," on the other hand, dives butt-first into deeper, gloomier soundscapes, allowing INJI to flaunt her capacity to combine sultry, hypnotic production with her usual spritely edge. Throughout the project, she blends jazz bossa nova and classical flourishes with thumping electronic beats and achieves a style entirely her own.

"WE GOOD" is maybe 13 minutes and 30 seconds long, but it packs a punch. A testament to INJI's belief that music is meant to be a joyful escape , she delivers an EP made to be blasted at full volume, from house parties to festival stages.
